About Us

Saga is a student-led literary magazine club based in Marina High School. Every month, Saga features unique works from Marina High School students and saves previous winners’ works to be displayed on the website. Serving as a library of the variety of works, Saga allows for a student to leave a mark for the future generations of Marina High School students. Saga is currently just a website publisher.

Our purpose is to provide an outlet for Marina High School Students to express their creativity and explore different mediums of writing and art. We welcome everyone at Marina to share their unique works and foster this creative community of writers, poets and artists.

We are also closely tied to the Creative Writing class run by our advisor Mr. Rasmussen. The class goes into specifics about these types of works and properly teaches students the different techniques for better writing. It explores different genres of writing like poetry, storytelling, comics, etc and allows students to discover which they enjoy most.
