Submission Guidelines
- We are happy to receive up to a total of 10 submissions for all categories combined of any combination of poetry, prose, nonfiction, art, and photography. Any or all 10 of these submissions can be published during one submission period, so we recommend to submit up to 10.
- Art includes both digital and traditional art. Feel free to explore different art forms. Do not include photography as part of the art category when submitting.
- Submission periods are exactly one month long. The submission period opens on the first day of the month and closes on the last day.
- There is no word limit to any of the submission categories.
- How to submit: Fill out the following Google Form. Rules and description are on the form. Once you submit, you will see a confirmation message
- Please use your school email when submitting.
- If you have made a mistake with your submission or would like to change its content, please edit the Google Form before the last day of the month.

Our Policy
- We do NOT tolerate plagiarism and ANY use of AI.
- We do not accept late submissions.
- We do not accept submssions not sent through Google form or forms submitted with emails not using the hbuhsd email domain.
- No NSFW, abide by school rules
- If your submission was published on the website, do not resubmit piece even if edited.
Review Process
- There will be a two week review process, so you will know whether you were accepted or not about 2 weeks after the submission period closed.
- The author of the accepted submissions will be notified through the email that submitted the work and their work will be posted on the website.
- There can be any amount of submissions in a given submission period that are accepted and published.
- If you want to take your submission off the website or edit it, email MHSSagaSubmissions@gmail.com with your request. We will get back to you within 2 weeks.
